Volunteers wanted for the 2012 International Conference on Stillbirth, SIDS/SUID and Infant Survival.
When: October 4-7, 2012
(Waterfront Marriott/Downtown Baltimore)

Number of Volunteers needed: 30
Time commitment: (2) 4-hour shifts
Conference Overview
This biennial event is expected to unite esteemed international researchers, parent leaders, stakeholders, and medical professionals to exchange vital information and concerns, and establish essential connections for the common goal of reducing infant loss.
Volunteer Description
- Act as a customer service liaison to all persons attending the conference
- One volunteer will be partnered with each presenter/facilitator. Said volunteer will assist the presenter is making the room a conducive learning environment by dimming lights, arranging chairs, making sure the room is neat, and the AV equipment is functioning. The volunteer will pass out and collect handouts. The volunteer will also make introductions, ask for questions, and thank the presenter.
- Assist in management of the room, help late comers find seats
- Provide technological expertise
- Assist with transportation needs
- Act as a hotel liaison
- Be knowledgeable about the sessions you are attending/monitoring.
- Assist with registration
- Be able to help with frequently asked questions
- Act as a floater during sessions
- One volunteer will be stationed in the poster session area
- One volunteer will remain in the oasis area and assist with bereaved parents
- Photographer for the conference
- Videographer for the conference
